Our mission has always been to design and deliver warehouse and materials handling solutions that combine cost efficiency with industry-leading innovation. From the 1960s our founding chairman Freddy Brown was at the forefront of warehouse equipment design. He won many industry awards for his pioneering work. This included the world’s first man up VNA combined order picker/pallet placer that led the market for over 20 years.
Back in 1982, tired from the restraints of traditional VNA trucks, Freddy set out to reinvent warehouse efficiency. He envisioned a faster, more flexible machine that could be mass-produced rather than custom-built for each site. The result? The revolutionary Articulated Forklift.
Since then, Translift Group has transformed the materials handling industry. By pioneering versatile Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklifts, we turned what began as a niche innovation into a global standard… now rivalling the popularity of conventional reach trucks and redefining the market it set out to challenge.
